What is your worst experience in driving?

I have been driving for around 33 years and seldom have any accidents. I am a very experience driver with a very good accident record. But one accident experience still give me the creeps today, because that was the worst accident I have personally encountered. This happened when I was a very young driver back in 1983. I was driving my Nissan car on a Saturday afternoon, heading to an institute to pick up my girlfriend. As I was driving on a little road near the back entrance of the institute and passing by a worksite, a tipper truck (the type for carrying sand and earth) suddenly came out backwards from the worksite and headed straight for my car. The truck had no licence to be on the road. It all happened so fast. I didn't even see the truck, but it slammed into my left front door as I was passing the entrance of the worksite. The impact was so great it tore open both my car's front and back doors. My car shifted from the sudden impact and the right side whacked into a stone kerb of a house on my right. There was a postman delivering letters to that house, and luckily he jumped out of harm's way when my car hit the kerb. After hitting me, the truck lost control and flew into a drain together with its driver. Immediately, a group of construction workers rushed out to retrieve the truck from the drain and pulled it back into the worksite. I just sat in my car dazed after the impact. I bumped my head against the car roof, and to this day, the bump on my head still reminds me of the accident. Luckily, besides the bump and shock, I didn't sustain other injuries, but the car was in bad shape and required quite a substantial amount of repairs paid fully by the construction company.

My worst experience of driving will be one accident that have happened to me about two years back. I was on my way back home from my university campus. I was driving very fast as the road was wide and straight and without any car around. Then I drove past a traffic light which was green light. Suddenly a car from the side road just came out and drove into the lane I was speeding at. I tried to pull my brake, I could hear the screeching sound of my tyres. I was unable to stop the accident from being happened. I was all alone and miserable with dented near left fore light and broken light of the car. Not long after that, it was raining super heavily and I have to drive the car slowly to a nearest workshop, which took me about 20 minutes to reach. The other driver deny that she was wrong therefore we ended up at police station, which are also very far too, took another 20 minutes. Waited for a few hours just to lodge a report. I was so tired that day but happy that at the end the police have sided me. I won so I do no need to pay for the car repair fees. Luckily.
