Does it upset and let you become depressed?

After marriage when a family starts, it is full of dream. The couple plans many things for the future. One of such is having baby. Some couple like a son first and others daughter.
I have seen distressed couples when they find by scanning that the embryo is not what they were expecting. What is your opinion, should there be any concern if first baby is boy or girl?

No there should not be any concern. I don't care wether my child is female or male. And when a couple conceives a baby, they should know that havin a boy or girl is 50% of having one or the other. If they get distressed because of this, I find it pretty silly. Unless those couples have a strong belief in a certain religion or their country has a certain political restriction...But even though, I wouldn't care about baby is boy a girl. There are things more important then this to worry about. haha
