I do. Although I find that the smell is too strong while it's actually burning but I like the scent it leaves after. What I do is light a stick then leave the room and do something else while it's burning. I am also picky with the type of incense I burn. I only use Nag Champa. This is what I learned from Wikipedia:It is an Indian incense originating from the Champa flower It has a high concentration of Sandalwood It is burnt in Hindu temples called Ashrams It absorbs moisture from the air which causes it to sometimes feel damp Bob Dylan is known for burning Nag Champa during his concert performances, as is Grateful Dead and The Black Crows So do you enjoy burning incense?

I burn incense, also. Patchouli is my favorite. I like sandalwood too. I just learned about nag champa at the Renaissance Festival. I also like candles. I have a candle warmer and a patchouli soy candle. I use the soy on my hands as a lotion.

When I was in school I was an Altar Boy and they used to burn incense at certain times of the year. I loved the smell and used to edge over to the urn so I could smell it more. It isn't used as much nowadays I don't think but I used to love it as a boy.

I love incense but my hubby hates it. I stick to candles instead which he seems to like more than incense.

I don't burn incense at all. I'm afraid that most strong smells give me a headache so I avoid them.

I do not burn incense. I personally dont like them and i find it hard to breathe when they are burning close to me. My husband is Hindu though and he burns them on big festivals when he prays. He does not burn them all the time out of respect for me but we do have incense burning in our house sometimes.

Hey coffeeshot! Yes I do burn incense and have for years. I have never burnd the Champa incense. I have burned Sandelwood though. I have also burned Jasmine which is one of my very favorites and Strawberry and Vanilla. Those are usually the ones that I like the best. But Jasmine is the one that I use the most. It is rather strong when you are burning it but I have always loved the smell of incense burning so I have gotten used to it over the years. It tends to relax me.

No I do not burn incense. I do burn candles at time. I have to watch the type of candle I burn because I cannot tolerate the flowery or sweet smells. I do like the cinnamon, or vanilla's or ginger smells. The cooking smells are the best. I have been burning a candle in my husband's shower because it gets moldy and the flame dries the moisture out.

I love incense and I used to burn it all the time. not, with my allergies/asthma, it doesn't seem to agree with me - I get kind of stuffed up or short of breath. It's a real shame since I enjoyed the smell. It's a different kind of smell, hard to explain for me, than when I burned scented candles. Now I give incense to a few friends as gifts.

I LOVE the smell of sandlewood. I think the problem you have with the heavy smoke is that you are not leaving windows open and providing enough ventillation when you burn your incense. I have found that quality affects both the intensity of the aroma, how long it lingers and the amount of smoke so maybe you should try a different brand in the fragrance you like. Remember that inhaling smoke can be harmful even from something as harmless as incense so be sure you only burn the heavy stuff partially down if you can't open a window.
