Just got a Wii the other day and have been playing the game that comes with it..bowling, baseball, golf, tennis. My arm is so sore right now. This will go away right?? Maybe I just need to get used to it. What are some good games for the Wii? I want to buy some for the kids for Christmas. I enjoy all games and the girls are 19, 13, and 7. Any suggestions on games?

Don't worry about the soreness. It'll go away after a few days. I had the same problem when my brother first bought the Wii and we got hooked on the bowling game. Some other good four player games for the system are Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii. Super Smash Bros. Brawl let's you choose a bunch of different characters from various Nintendo games old and new and you battle it out with each other. Mario Kart Wii is an excellent racing game for multiplayers. For single player games, there's The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy. Hope that helps.

I'm glad it will go away, I had a hard time throwing darts tonight. I love Mario games. Thanks for giving me pointers on single player games too. My husband went to bed early tonight and I was left with the Wii by myself...they will come in handy. I love the system already with only the demo game! I will be adding Wii fitness by Christmas...any suggestions on games for that too?

Are you referring to the Wii Fit game? The one that utilizes the balancing board? I think that's the only game that uses that board. That game contains 40 different activities (or so it says when I looked it up) so I don't think you'll be running out of things to do on there anytime soon. When I looked up the info on it online, I found out that some of the activities you can do are Yoga, Hula Hoop, Step Aerobics, and other various exercises. I'm not so sure how that works because I don't own the Wii Fit but I heard that it was fun.

Yes, Wii Fit. I looked it up too. It looks really cool! Heck, I might be able to quit the gym if I had that. It says that you work with your own personel trainer. I bought Super Smash Bros. today. I didn't try it out yet. Looks fun.

The wii can be a workout! I definitely suggest Mario Galaxy, Smash Brothers and I cannot remember the game with the crazy rabbits... but it was definitely cool. There's 2 of them now... it has many mini games... basically it's just a bunch of mini games... and my 4 year old loved it, but so did my friends and I so it was pretty much fun for all ages.

My favorite games are still the games that came with the Wii. Your arm will get used to the Wii after awhile. :) I need to start playing again, I haven't had time lately.

rayman raving rabbids is a very good game...esspecially for your girls! it has loads of mini games within it and none-console players will be able to grasp it. also should you have a wii fit board you could use that with it on some of the games!
