LOL - I put the puppy into the garden and he jumped back in though the window :D

I just had to share this story with you, my 16 week old puppy went out into the garden yesterday and I was washing up at the sink, I have the window ajar for the cats to get in and out and suddenly he is in the kitchen wih me. Thankfully there were no sharps in the sink but he somehow got up and onto the kitchen windowsill and into the sink and on the kitchen side. I had to giggle but now I need to make sure the window is shut whilst he is out cos he is a chewer if not supervised 24/7. What crazy things have your pets done recently?

Hi Riyasam, Pupies are very hard work but so much fun. I am lucky in that I have a large house and a beach nearby to exercise him but I understand your restrictions if living in an apartment. One day eh. Huggles. Ellie :D

It's bad when you're living in an apartment. You cannot do anything 'cause of lack of space. This is really boring.

Hi David, I guess he just watched the cats and copied them. I am amazed he jumped that high LOL. Yes it is colder here but I do still leave the window ajar for the cats to come in and out whatever the weather. You have a great week too. Mine is a busy one ahead. Huggles. Ellie :D

ah that is so cute, I wish I had seen it. the funny thing my kitten just did was I was taking a shower, and the kitten wanted to come in so he tried to jump the shower doors, he caused a big noise slid down and scared both him and me then he ran out of the bathroom.

Hi Mimipi, I know how much time he is taking as my earnings here have halfed since I have got him as I only get the chance to pop in in the morning briefly and maybe for an hour at night but yes he is worth it and I will enjoy. We start training sessions next week so that should be fun. Huggles. Ellie :D

Hi Mimipi, BUSY, that is an understatement, having a baby is easier but yes it is all worth it for the fun factor. Went to the beach on Saturday and I was so busy playing with the ball and the dog that I never noticed a big wave behind me and it got me soaked right over and into my welie boots LOL. Huggles. smile! - theived stress-ball
the female half of the Crite Twins.. Norah.. named after my rogue in game and aptly named apparently, as shes become a superior theif. shes got a real yen for my daughters ponytail holders, and has managed to learn to open closed containers to get at them and carry them round the house in her mouth. her thievery doesnt end there however.. anything that catches her attention is subject to being gaffed with her big floppy paws, stuffed into her mouth, and shes off running. i have this smiley faced "stress" ball on my nightstand... and it caught her eye the other day. SWIPE!! i didnt notice shed gotten it at first till she ran by, stopped short in front of me brandishng big smiley face in her yap.. "Norah you cant have that its mine!" i hollared.. she bolted and the chase was on! my house is set up in such a way that all the rooms connect on either floor in a big circle.. and we both ran with me on her tail just out of grasp through "The Gauntlet" at top speeds much to the amusements of the on lookers scattered in each room we plowed through. i finally cornered her in my bedroom and she dropped the smiley at her feet and looked up at me with a such sorrowful expression and a pitiful "mew" i couldnt help but say "awwww, poor baby" before i snatched back the smiley and gave her a stern shake of my finger telling her "no.. MINE! you cant play with this" she gave me another woeful "mew" and wandered off downstairs.. sat in the center of the kitchen.. and wailed brokenheartedly like a spoiled child that wasnt getting their way for a good solid ten minutes. LOL such a personality.. she really is adorable

Hi Tessa, I,like Kashi laughed out loud at this one visualising you chasing Norah round the house. Of course she is adorable she was named after you She does certainly sound like she has a great personality but the wailing brokenheartedly after well that one got me LOL. I am now imagining Baskerville trying to join the chase too and can see the look of astonishment on the faces of the onlookers he, he,. Thanks so much for sharing. Huggles. Ellie :D

That is so cute! I love watching puppies because everything is so new to them. I guess something cute Sherlock did recently involved underwear. I had put my clean laundry that I had just done at my parent's house down on my recliner. After doing the dishes I came back into the living room, and Sherlock was staggering around with a pair of underwear over his head. He had it completely over his head and he couldn't see where he was going.

Hi my friend Ellie. Cats are nimble animals that can jump high and climb trees even. Dogs are not so so able to follow actions cats do. Ziggy has been watching the cats and learning from them I think. Puppies love to chew and my friend left a puppy he was looking after with his pair of slippers. In the morning he found his all chewed up pair of slippers. I have two dogs, Secret and Magic. Secret moved to my new home and we went for a walk along the path. He thought he was running on to green grass but it was river. What a shock he got, he swam in a circle, got out and shock himself. So I got green slime on myself. Oh my! On time where we used to live I took him to a coastal town by bus. We took the cliff lift up to a downs where we did a walk. Oh, no. Secret rolled in fox mess. I tried to get it off without any luck. People on the bus wondered what that awful smell was. When we got home I gave him a bath.

Hi Maxine, Oh how embarrassing Secret rolling in the fox mess and having to take him on the bus home, that is yukky stuff as we have quite a few foxes round here. Yes I am sure Ziggy has been watching the cats come in and out but it is only a jar so he lifted the latch to do it too LOL, they say Collies are intelligent and agile and he sure proved he was. It sounds to me like Secret is more michievious than Magic. Thanks for sharing. Huggles. Ellie :D

That is so cute. When we had our old front door my cat use to jump up at the letterbox and knock to be let in. We would answer the door to find the cat sitting on the door step waiting there patiently to be let in. A few weeks ago my partner was looking out the kitchen window and caught my dog bouncing on the kids trampoline in the back garden he was actually bouncing on his back on it. My partner could not believe it and called me to have a look but he had got off it by the time i got there.

When I first moved here one of my cats scared me by knocking on the bedroom window we had a flat before but a house now so I was amazed at how he could have climbed up LOL. Huggles. Ellie :D

Sounds like your little puppy has a real character! The only pets that we have now are snakes but I did used to have a dog. She was a pest, she could open my living room window and would do this when I went to work letting herself out, of course she could not always get herself back in so she would roam around the streets for the day leaving my living room window wide open until my friend came to check and take her out. The first time she did it my friend thought I had been broken into and she went in expecting a mess but the only thing that was missing was the dog, she thought that the dog had been pinched but then later realised that the dog had escaped!

Hi Ellie! How cute - that pup of yours is adorable! We've just been visiting our daughter in Darwin (the one who has the puppy called Cosmo), and it turns out he's a mad bodysurfing dog! We had a couple of outings to the beach with him, and he was wild in the water, bless him! It's lovely to see little dogs (and big dogs, too!) enjoying themselves with wild abandon - even if they look like drowned rats afterwards!

Hi ellie, That is so funny, copying the cats, I've never heard of a dog getting in through the kitchen window hehehe, its great!!, no my cats don't do anything, but my female stays out all day and night even in the wind and rain, I think she is sleeping some where cozy and my male just sits here near my Laptop and falls asleep. It is raining cats and dogs out there but she still stays out, the silly cat. Love and huggles. Tamara

Hi ellie333 I have got no pets that have done something crazy recently but once when I was a kid my mum was cleaning out the goldfish. She was just taking one out with a seive and it suddenly flipped and fell into the freshly made jam tarts! It did have a bit of jam on him but he was ok but my mum threw the jam tart away as she didn't think that someone would want a fishy tasting jam tart after their dinner!! LOL

That is funny. Thanks for sharing. I think your puppy is watching the cats going in and out that way and has learnt this of them. My cat could open door handles by jumping up on to them. He also knew when my daughters where coming in from School and would sit at the front door five minutes before they came home. Our pets are so smart. They are very funny also.

my fox terrior is always crazy, that is him. he never liked me kissing his face but nowadays (for 1 week now), he would jumped onto my face and put his hairy head beneath my chin and wanted me to kiss him and (bite him),hehe :o) By the way, that can only happen when i am just home from outside. Maybe he missed me, i dont know. But throughout the night he wouldn't do that automatically again. Until tomorrow afternoon when i am back from university again...

Hi ellie! Poor little Ziggy! He just wanted to be with you in the kitchen! I guess he didn't like being outside all alone in the garden! How cute he is! My cats do alot of silly things! They now both after 5 years of having them since they were kittens jump into my lap while I am on the computer. Now neither one of them were ever lap cats. They never jumped in my lap before. All of a sudden Luna started to do it when I would sit here at night and mylot. Now he does it all the time. I have to type with him in my lap almost on the keyboard. All of a sudden the other night Star jumped into my lap and I was stunned because he never did that before. Now again tonight he was in my lap. Now I just got a new computer desk which boyfriend hasn't started to assemble yet. I don't know how the boys are going to feel when I get that set up. Right now I have a plastic table that is really supposed to be a picnic table for outside with a hole in the middle for an umbrella and it isn't very steady. I have a tablecloth on it and they love to hide under it. So when I get the new desk set up with the computer chair I don't think they will be too happy. The desk is a corner desk with a high shelf. It isn't going to be used as a corner desk but it will be alot different then the setup I have now. I'm not even sure that I will like it but it will take up less space in the kitchen.

Hi Opal, Poor Ziggy, I had muddy paws all over the windowsill and the side in the kitchen plus all the water he splashed everywhere LOL. I couldn't believe it when I saw him, he has obviously watched the cats coming in and out and thought he wuld give it a try bless! The cats sound like they want your attention away from the computer, animals can be so possessive can't they LOL. It will be interesting to see what they do when the computer desk is all set up. Any typos and strange responses in future from you I will put down to them jumping on the keyboard and at inappropriate moment and submit button being hit LOL. Huggles. Ellie :D
