Why do others laugh at obese people...?

Hi rowenamarie... Why do you care what people think Rowenamarie?...You know within yourself you are a good person...You know within yourself you have a life, surrounded by family and friends, who love you reguardless!...They are the people that love you!...They are the people who care for you...Why care about what people think?...Why give a thought to people who dont even matter?...Dont waste your pretty little head on timewasting morons!...When they mock and stare...Ignore them!...People laugh at obese people because the are STUPID and cannot manage to think outside the square they live in!...Try not to take things too much to heart...I wish you lots of luck with this topic!

I don't laugh at people that are different from me. The world would be a boring place without diversity. I am not small myself at about 5'7 and 200lbs even though I just had a baby I am still not comfortable with how I look. I have actually learned to accept more people that are different from me becuase of this. I know that I am not happy being at the size that I am. I have started to work out and to eat right in order to conteract that. I know that some people cant change it because of medical problems or don't want to because they are happy with themselves then more power to them!

It is not just about obesity, people to tend to judge the book by its cover. I just hope that they realized that its not the looks, however if we encounter people like this we have to be thankful that we are not like them.

It's not all about you. Mostly, the people who are doing this are insecure, or just need to put other people down in order to feel better about themselves. Whenever someone laughs at you, or otherwise puts you down, try to remember that they are desperately trying to cover up their own inadequacies and you are just an easy target for them. I know it's hard sometimes, but don't let it get you down. Hold your head up high. If others have to laugh at you because of your appearance, they are not living a happy life. Deep down, they feel bad inside, and they are the ones that have to live with it for the rest of their life. People are obese for all kinds of reasons, a lot of them being medical reasons that they can't control. It's very sad that people get their amusement from other peoples pains. I hope this helps.
