My baby was born on November 4, 2008 at exactly 8:54am. Our expected date of delivery is November 12 but since he is my first born, it is usual that first borns come two weeks earlier.
It was such a nice experience although really painful. But seeing him and hearing him cry took all the pains away. He really completes my womanhood and now that I am a mother, I will make sure that I will give him the best that I could cause he has given my the most wonderful gift - himself.

CONGRATS!!! I delivered my son via c-section on July 24th and it has been the BEST experience of my life. I love that little guy more than I could have imagined ever loving anyone. The bond will only keep getting stronger....make sure you get plenty of rest these first couple of months....by the third month it gets pretty easy....

ohhh congratss!! he must be so small ^_^ i agree, seeing and hearing them makes it all worth it in then end in my opinion too. it was the same for my kids. my son is 5 yrs and my daughter is 8 months now. she's a march baby hehe and she can't say mama yet grins though she's beginning to make baby talk now hehe it's so fun and cute to hear them. do take a lot of rest and make sure try not to touch cold stuff, especially water too much. it's said that later on when you're older, you'll start feeling the effects like maybe pain in your bones, knees and so on. hehe so you must rest and live like a queen during your confinement, only taking care of your baby while your husband does all the work:P

oh yea definitely. unfortunately for my first son, i could like care for him for like nearly 3 weeks cos he was a premature babe. at that time, i was really emotional considering it was my first babe and all. i always went to the hospital to visit him hehe even though i was supposed to be in confinement. hope you and your babe is getting the best care.

Congratulations! I just wanted to say that my first born was actually 2 wks late. Back then (70's) they said 1st borns were usually late. I believe that stuff is actually a myth. Ive heard all kind of things like carry high its a girl. etc. All a myth.
