Does it ever happen with you? You find no topic very interesting to respond or any topic to start as such? Today somewhat I am feeling like this. I think I should take soem rest and then again post here? Or are you always very interested in posting.

Hi subha12,
Well, i am very new to here at mylot.com. I just started here three days back. Till now i never had a feel that i have nothing to post. But, i have gone crazy about this whether to respond to this discussion or that discussion. So many things are buzzing around my mind where to respond!

At times I start four discussions in one day or may not start a single discussion for a whole month. It all depends on my mood. Ofcourse there are days when there are no interesting discussions around. I then spend my time on other sites and come back when I feel refreshed.

Many times I have felt like that here my friend. That is why there are many times that I will often leave here for a while and go check Email, Watch TV, surf the Internet, play a game, etc. instead of being actively posting in here. There are other things in life to do besides being in here. I just feel that sometimes we need that break just to let us know there are other things in life we must and can do besides being here as well.

yes when you feel that way it is time to take a little break from mylot, and rejuvenate yourself, I have to do that with everything that I do.

I felt this way at times. The discussions were not what I am interested in. However, I think if we decide to look the other way around, we can create new discussions that others may like. Maybe, this way would help spruce up the postings at mylot.com

No, I never come to MyLot and have nothing to post. I have always came here and found interesting topics and discussions to respond to. Some of them take time to think for me to give thought. I do know I wish to need to start more discussions that I have lately. Those I have fallen behind on.

Hi..you are very shrewd..By saying that you have nothing to post, you have in fact posted a discussion..Well it happens some times that we feel empty. THE PROBLEM WITH DOING NOTHING IS NOT KNOWING WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED...!!! So take rest and be sure when to come back..Rest and sleep is a weapon which can be used constructively..

I don't really post alot. I find myself responding to people's discussions more than anything. I find it interesting how many responses I get to some of the discussions I start. The ones that I hope will get the most responses don't. I have discovered that many people here respond to more of the dumb discussions, like "how many slices of pizza can you eat", or "How many pairs of pants do you own". I will see 25-30 responses to the stupid topics, and 0-3 responses to the more serious ones sometimes. It's just wierd what the majority of people here are interested in.

It seems like I always have a good idea for new discussions. However, all these ideas come to me when I cannot sleep and therefore, I have to make a note of it somewhere. I have found that there are many repetitive topics and discussions, especially in the topics of pizza and internet. (They always ask what is your favorite browser, pizza, food, pizza place, topping, etc.) But I think that there is always something interesting to at least read if not reply to.

Absolutely. I check my topics and see if there are any new responses and reply to those as needed. Then I check topics I responded to and check to see if I need any additional response. Then I check friends' topics to see if any of those I have anything worthwhile to contribute.
Once in awhile, I just do not have anything to say that really contributes. Don't worry about it subha12. We all have our less than creative days. :D

Yeah, it happens with me too. Lately I just haven't been posting very much. Part of the problem is that I just can't find many discussions I can respond to and I have run out of ideas to post anything for discussions. Of course, that is probably just as well as I'm lucky if I get one response to any of the discussions I post. But yeah, I would take a break from MyLot subha12 if that's the case. Who knows, you may come back refreshed with MyLot and find things to post.

Yes i know what you mean! I look through discussion started by friends, if i find i answered to the ones i felt i could answer usefully i move on to no response, then interests... Sometimes i even try to SEARCH for a topic but it seems futile since the search engine here is mediocre at best...
I rather NOT be part of a topic than be part of one and give useless responses that drown out ones that might actually help the poster ;) It is part of being a person lol... all depends on your mood and also what knowledge you have to share ;)
Take care =)
