When mine were little they used to love going to the sea side and eating ice cream, having a picnic on the beach, they also loved to go for a bike ride and end up in a field to eat their lunch ,going the the local baths and splashing around for hours and then as a special treat getting something out of the machines that sold sweets and drinks. One other thing they used to like doing was going to the indoor play centre and jumping on the plastic balls and climbing up the frames, do your kids do this sort of thing these days or has something else taken over,?

I loved the time when my son was little and we would go to the park. He was so little and he loved the park. He's a big boy now. Cheers!!

Camping, my kids version of heaven is camping. Particularly bush camping. My kids have all been bush camping with us since they were little babies. We go up to Hubbs' hometown of Elliot Lake, Ontario to go bush camping.
Roasting marshmallows on the open fire, singing camping songs and telling stories. Swimming in the lake and fishing, howling with the wolves and going on treasure hunts in the bush. That is a slice of heaven for us, we love camping so much Hubbs and I went camping for our week long honeymoon! lol
As long as I could remember I have always loved camping with my family growing up and I am pleased to pass this legacy on to my children. I have some very beautiful and heart warming photos of them while bush camping that I'll cherish forever (along with the memories of course).

My goodness you lucky lot what a brilliant time, and what brilliant memories .We have a touring caravan and we travel around the west country cornwall devon in the summmer and the south coast of England in the other half terms feb, april and october we don't rough it like you do to much rain in this country. The memories of just us three in the van , playing chess , bike riding and going for walks, ect is going to live with us forever, I am so excited I have found a kindred spirit, my son emails the kids he makes friend with on holiday and we belong to the caravan club and we see people year after year at different locations and it is lovely. And now we take our grandchildren with us so the fun is starting all over again ,heaven.xx

My husband is Metis\Iroquois (1\5th) which makes my children 1\3rd. He comes from a very, very long line of hunters\trappers and lines trap men. Camping is a natural environment for him and his family, something he grew up doing for whole summers. I'm glad we've found some common grounds and kindred aspirations. It's hard to find people who have the same likes when it comes to bush camping, I've been not 2 feet from a wild bear and didn't even flinch for a second. I've seen some of the most beautiful and awe inspiring things mother nature has had to offer first hand, my children have as well and I hope my children keep those fond memories in their hearts as much as we did and do.
