Do you 'enjoy' your life?

I often wondering what's life for. When I look around, I'm very envy on people that do enjoy their lives. Why don't I? I also don't know - life is difficult for me but is that only a matter that I don't know how to 'enjoy'.
I don't love to talk much, especially with strangers since I was a kid. I think I did improved a lot but still have this major weakness. My parents and other family members don't like me (often scold me for no manners, do not respond to others, etc), my teachers don't like me (always not answering their questions) and even friends. Who want to be friend with someone that don't talk much.
I really can't imagine that I'm the one who support my family now (with house loan, car loan, parents' debts) and those household works (including cooking for my whole family). I still don't talk and complain much but sometimes I would like to speak out "I'm not that tough as you think".
Nevermind, life still goes on....hope to see some changes........

I try to enjoy my life but it is hard too sometimes.
there are un-enjoyable moments at times... i also don't like to talk a lot and have a only a few friends... and i think if i could just open up more to people that i would have more in my life but i can't no matter how hard i try. i just don't trust anyone enough to let them in... so its hard to enjoy but i still try... life is as good as you make it. at least thats what they say.... and i think part of it true. life is what you make it but sometimes you can't help how it is and you aren't able to change things... i try to always just remind myself there somewhere out there someone has it worse off then me and so there for i should be greatful for what i do have and the moment that i can enjoy...

I would say that I TRY to enjoy my life, but don't always succeed in doing so. Life definitely has many tragic aspects, and it's hard to be happy in the face of all one's sad memories and fears for the future. There are things that I really love to do, though, and those things always seem to bring me joy: reading, listening to music, playing tennis, playing with my cat, learning new things, pursuing a new idea, and many other things as well. You're obviously a really honorable person because you are so serious about taking care of your family -- I would never tell you, "Forget about them and go have fun!" Hopefully they appreciate you in their hearts even if they may outwardly scold you. Still, I think it's worth aiming for having some time for yourself to do things you like to do. Not all fun has to involve other people, even (many of my interests don't, and sometimes I've been accused of being a "silent type" just like you!)...the important thing is that it makes you happy and lets you forget about how serious the rest of life is.

echomonster, I got what you mean and really appreciated on your great advices and comments. I really do enjoy while I'm listening to the music but don't have that chance to listen it at home. Hope that I can do whatever I want when I move to new house. Thanks, echomonster.

I would say that I find my life enjoyable on certain occasions. I have a wonderfu family and my son is the light of my life. He brings me happiness and I am very proud of him.
Yes. I would say that my boy is the forefront to a lot of my happiness. I do have a lot of worries including financial and some other issues but I do find time to enjoy things from time to time.

bamakelly, glad to hear that you have an enjoyable and wonderful life. It really sometimes depends on people on how they define the word of 'happiness'. Everyone has his/her own issues - if we feel sad everyday, it won't solve the issue too. Life still goes on. Hope that I can catch the meaning of such 'theory'. Thanks. bamakelly.
