If you havent heard of skype before, It is a messenger client sort of like AIM, but is designed more for media chatting. (audio and video chat). While there are services you can pay for, the free services are pretty nice. Right off the bat, you have the ability to start chat rooms, conference calls, and a one on one video chat. It is real handy if you know someone overseas that you dont get to see a lot. Share your stories about your skype experience or ask away if you are interested. Id be glad to tell you all about it... I used skype but now I stick to icq. It's completly free, video conference, voip calls, all in. Main advantage: it's a little quicker, especially on data transfer like photos and so on. I live in germany, my girl in phillipines, it's our favourite!
