What do you look like?

i have been meaning to put my picture there for a while but i have lost the cable that connects my phone to my computer. as soon as i find that cable i will change it. i also plan to put many other photos on this site, of me and my friends. happy mylotting

I usually don't put real photos of me up... But, I can describe what I do look like. I have clear glowy skin.. I have long jet black hair.. I wear glasses, small frames that is.. I have deep black eyebrows.. I am African American mixed with Indian. My skin complexion is like a soft light brown color.. I would love to put a photo of me up, but I don't know how to up load it to my computer.. Maybe soon I will do this, so that you all can have a better look at me.

Well, leenie, it is pretty simple. IDENTITY THEFT. It is not, in my opinion, safe to post actual photos of ourselves or our family and friends online because search engines are so sophisticated now that people who are not even myLot members have access not only to the photos but also to everything we say here, so my believe is that people need to be MUCH more cautious about the information they give out. Identity theft is on the rise, and it is very easy for someone to take a photo and cut and paste it onto a different background and print it out and use it to create a phony ID to sell to a criminal. Actually worst crimes could be committed but that one should be enough. I adore mimpi, but really, I liked her other avatar much better, even though she is a pretty lady.

i really don't know how to change it but i can't use my digital , it's broken & i think i would have to because i'm not much on getting my picture made. it is nice to see who u are talkingto, i agree. you have a good day & greetings from tennessee.

I just help myself in, after seeing this fun discussion. Yup, the avatar, is me. I was thinking at the time when my friend took the picture. My 'full' appearance could be found in my blog, that's why I put the URL in my profile, for those who's interested, and to know more about me. Otherwise, we could just carry on the discussion. I am so glad that I am still here after having a riot of health hazards all through the day. I have a picture of me uploaded on my profile so that when someone is interested to look at me, he/she can just look at my profile. I look ordinary and looks like any Asian people around, so no mystery there. Just like you, I am also interested and like to see the real picture of the person I am responding too. Sometimes though beautiful ladies using their pictures gets lot of responses and friends which is good because I think we are all attracted to beautiful things. It is a delight to see. Probably not in the near future....maybe someday. We'll just have to wait and see! LOL

I have no particular reasons at all. But for one I prefer other photos than my personal apperance for mysterious effect. LOL! (kidding) I just think that it is more noticeable than my own face posted on the avatar. hehehe...my friends might be afraid of my face.

Hi Leenie, My very first avatar was of myself and my daughter. I have very few pics of me, more of the children and the pets. I then changed to a pic of my younger daughter but got loads of young guys wanting to add me as a friend so put one of my son on there for a while so they had all had there claim to fame and found the moon one with the water that ripples and posted that, so many people love that one that I have kept it but I will up load my original avatar just for you. The one thing I have never done being a member here is put my picture on as an avatar. Not because I am ashamed or anything I just like to put other pictures on instead. I think there are photos of me in my profile and I put pictures of myself on other sites but I just never have here!

Yes I notice a lot of people don't have a picture - some have one of somehting that is close to them such as their pets but I always like to put myself in the picture! :)

It makes no difference to me what a myLot member looks like when I am responding to a posting. However for members on my friends list if I am really curious I can always check out their profile file photos. I have my alpha chihuahua as my avatar as I much prefer looking at her than at my own face every time I post on myLot!

not that it appears to be an optional object for the users on the network forum , each one enjoys there would like to select whichever he likes to post.depending on the users' appetite , it is common things for them to change his pictures from one to another. as to me,i never think i couldnot be taken good pictures .i have posted the following avatar instead of my picture here merely because i love it most at that moment ,what' s more,i happened to post it curiously and unconsciously.

I'm new here but on other sites I was internet scared for years to put my picture up on anything! Course after I joined YouTube I got over it pretty quick as I realized that if people judged me on looks they are probably people I shouldn't care about anyway! I do understand people like my sister not putting up a picture due to her job.
