Downloading off Aspyr?

Okay, well, I recently bought a Mac and I want to buy CoD4. The only problem is: the game is banned here (I live in the UAE). So, I figured the easiest way to get it would be downloading the game off Aspyr, however, I've heard mixed reviews. Does anybody here have experience with downloading off Aspyr? I wouldn't want to waste fifty bucks. =P Please don't post about how Macs aren't meant for gaming. This is really the only game I want. I'm hoping that getting it won't be too hard. Thanks in advance for any replies!
