Hello My fellow mylottoers. Has anyone
ever brought food from home or bought food from the outside to bring it inside of the movie theater, because movie theater food prices are to high? I've bought sandwiches and juice along with a few little snacks. Who has brought outside food into the movie theater?

shhhhh don't tell no one ok? Yep....lol
I can't see buying a box of junior minutes for $3 plus some change when I can get the same size box at the dollar store for a buck or at wal-mart for a dollar or less. If I am going just before lunch or close to lunch I will sometimes (rarely)but have. But I love movie theater popcorn so I don't try to sneak popcorn in...lol
Wow my husband just told me that the candies in the movie theaters here are now up to 5.25 a box. Guess I will be sneaking in for awhile now. We normally get 2 drinks and popcorn and now it cost more than the movie itself....sighs Don't know why they charge so much. If they would come down on pricing people wouldn't sneak stuff in right?

Don't worry I won't twll anyone. Scouts honor. lol. But your absolutely right. These prices are ridiculous. I live in NY city and I just went to the movies with my Girlfriend and I paid $25 for the both of us. I didn't even know the prices went up to 25 dollars. the last time I went to the movies I always paid 10.25 per ticket. and then they claim they have great combo specials, which only save you 50 cents. A medium drink and medium popcorn comes out to be 11.75. That's crazy. I rather spend $6 get a meal from burger king or wendys and enjoy my movie with little expense. lol

YES!! I'll admit it, I have. Usually I will pop popcorn at home and bring it with me. I have also brought sodas from home and some other snacks. The movie, itself, is such an expense and with a family of 5, we just can't afford the extras. We rarely go to the movies as it is, but I found that, over the summer, going to the drive-in was great. You could see two movies for the price of one and bring snacks in with you.

In the summer here on wednesdays at the theater they will have free movies for the kids so you might want to check into that see if yours does that as well in the summer. I think it is a real cool deal. But I like to go to the drive-in as well and we did when we were in cali but I haven't seen one in SC yet.
