Earning Some Money

Just a month ago, due to my depressed state over that heart-smashing breakup with my ex-girlfriend, I decided I needed something to keep me diverted from my pain and my depression. There should be something like that or else I'd have lost my mind.
Anyway, I started making plans to buy a new keyboards synthesizer by February or January. I also planned to buy an entry level digital single-lens reflex camera by May or June next year. Of all wonders, once I started planning and start making moves to make them come true, the world granted me a lot of earning opportunities. So now I have three clients paying me to write for them, not including my client-less jobs like Informative Post and of course, PTC and mylot.
I thank God for all of these, and I've promised Him to be more active in church as a keyboardist once I buy that new keyboards next year.
Has any of you experienced the same? That opportunities started coming when you decided to make moves to make your plans a reality?

Hey, I've done the same twice already and it's true when you're positive even if things are going wrong something good comes up. You're from Cebu too? What denomination are you?

Ahh yeah that one. I'm a Roman Catholic. I'm planning to volunteer keyboardist on a support basis for our church, but I already have been tapped to play keyboards for the chapel choir. Our guitarist has already moved to a different place, so they need someone who can play an instrument.

There are things that come to us in an unexpected way and time. A lot of it we don't know that it's coming until the time that it's there already. God works in an unexpected way and in His time not our time. He won't give you what you asked but will direct you on where to look for it. When a door closes, another door opens and sometimes (if not all) struggles are natures way of making us strong. You just have to believe and have faith.
On the other hand, do you have any choices for your upcoming dSLR? I am planning of getting one too anytime soon and I've been actively researching and looking for information about it. I am setting my eye on Canon EOS 1000D, originally it was the 40D that I wanted to have but when I was in the store, I have seen the former and change my mind from the ever expensive 40D.

Hi, sirrob!
Yes, I believe He wants us to work for what we want. We are just merely asking for guidance from him, and we should trust where he's leading us. As for the DSLR, I chose the Nikon D60. Same local price as the 1000D, same features, except for one thing: the sensor on the viewfinder that shuts off the Live View monitor when you place your eye on the viewfinder.

I've seen some opportunities come by but not stick around. Now I'm trying to make some type of extra money here on mylot. But honestly I'm only making about .30 a day at most. Sounds to me that your very blessed! I know I'm blessed in so many ways but the way the economy is going my husband is working less hours and we are just having a struggle right now. I wished I had people paying me to write but I have My lot and a few others but I'm only making about a dollar a day. I quess it's better than nothing.

The economy is getting worse here as all but yea, you're right. I might be really blessed to have these opportunities come to me on a time that I really needed them the most.

Im happy to see people who has big faith with God and actively doing their mission for Him. Anyway, I also experience depression and loneliness these past weeks and like you I am trying to forget those. I am giving now my 100% focus in my internet cafe and my online business to help me move on from pains. And like you, as days are running I saw improvements from my daily earnings in my cafe and my online business. Happy mylotting

That's what they called the Law of Attraction. If we focus on the positive energies we attract positive vibes. It works both ways too. Well, my job and my aspirations are all I have left after everything I've been through so I'm focusing my energies on those.
