Have you ever thought of what would happen if obama were to change the colour of the white house?Would that cause riots and such?Do you think anyone would still want to assassinate obama and his family the way that president John Kennedy and his whole family was wiped out?Will racism between races ever end?

Rumor is that he already wants to change the national anthem and to redesign the flag - why not paint the White House bright yellow...or may be we could use the black and red color theme from their election night wardrobes!
Racism will never end so long as people call it racism every time someone doesn't agree with them.

I am hoping that it is just what I have found it to be so far - a rumor! I believe it was something that some of the media came out with, and I don't know it to be true, but it was said that he believes our national anthem to be too oppressive to other countries (with the "bombs bursting in air" part) and that our flag should be redesigned to be more friendly to the world.

President Kennedy's whole family was not wiped out but the risks to Obama's family are the same as they were back then and are with any president. To answer your question, no, I believe that Barack Obama will have more important things on his mind than changing the color of a world icon like the White House. That building is historic and, as such, unchangable without congressional approval.

Please tell me this is meant to be a joke! Nobody is ever going to change the color of the White House. On a more serious note, I doubt if racism will ever completely end as much as I hope I'm wrong. I do believe it will get better as today's children and young people get older.

What? Make it the Black House since he's black and not white?
The White HOuse is a symbol of our country just as is the Flag and the Pledge. The Pledge and prayer are already being yanked out of school systems faster than you can imagine because it "upsets" or "harms" those who are not from America and don't share the views that we patriotic Americans do.
If he wants to paint the WH, fine. Paint it. But he'll be booted out of office by the end of his 4 years faster than Bush, Sr was when Bill Clinton was elected.
