Ok, I know this might seem a bit somber, for me, but I'm carouse whats the point of having a big funeral I mean its not like your going to be there to see it, besides in my opinion big funerals only heighten the feeling of loss, I mean losing a loved one is sad enough without having to experience a long drawn out ceremony I would prefer a private and quick ceremony over a big event with only my closest family and friends there, and I want some quick and simple words to be spoken and no wake just a beryl ceremony I wouldn't want to prolong my familys sadness with a big wake ether. but of course by that time I might change a few things but my funeral will definitely be short. anyway how about you do you want a big ceremony when the time comes?

An old family friend passed away last week. Complications of chemo. While the man was 81, he still had so much more to give. His family decided to have a church service and then cake and coffee. They had a " movie " going to watch slides of him, told funny stories and just were enjoying this man's life.
Since he had been cremated the day before, there wasn't even a coffin there.
The evening was sad to a point, but also very touching.
The more I think of it, the more I like this idea.

i dont really mind as i will leave it up to my family to decide.
i dont have any preferences on being buried or crimmated either.
all i do hope is that people try to enjoy themselves at my wake.
or i want 'always look on the bright side of life' played lol.
happy mylotting
