B.S.
When we first started watching these (Horrorfest films - a.k.a. 8 films to die for. Films to die for), the previews and commercials all touted them as "too graphic or disturbing for the general public". That intriqued us so, we started renting them from the video store. We were sorely disappointed. Although some of them are decent movies in their own right, they do not meet the hype of the "Horrorfest" commericalism. I even posted a discussion about that some months back.
This weekend I noticed at the video store there was a movie that my husband and I had watched some time ago (but this year). Now all of sudden, it's under the Horrorfest label (when it wasn't before). It was a good movie mind you, but it was not promoted under the Horrorfest label before. This just makes me say - "pooh to the Horrorfest label! You're just like any other movie! Nothing spectacular! I won't go out of my way to watch your movies anymore. I'll watch your movies when they're only a dollar."
Anyone else feel the same way about these films?
