i'm a stressed for the past 2 days now... you see a friend of mine was telling about a nice subdivision where townhouses are at a nice deal. it was just 2 months ago when my brother was talking to me about getting a house & i just slid it off my mind. undecisive i opened this up to my partner which created a whole lot of discussion (which was my fault coz i did say it to him in a wrong way & not a good timing). anyway we still managed to talked it out as i advised to come with me to check out the place. it was an astonishing place! the townhouse is just enough for us... with two rooms, 1 wash room, kitchen area, dining & living room & a garage with enough open space infront. it was a cozy place to live in provided i could make finish it up with a comftable interior design. along with the house it has a carousel & some rides for the kids which has a specific place, a clubhouse for owners, a community church, market, swimming pool & many more! it's oober nice there! it's like stepford wives 2! lol. i fell inlove with the place. i wanted to get it as much as possible. with the loan provided in the package it's a plus deal but then i couldn't afford to cash out 65,000PHP in 6 months. i know both our salary is enough to pay this but then we still ahve to pay our rent and on top of that are our bills & daily expenses. we are both afraid to zero out our savings. i hope i could get out of this misery coz as much as i love to have a place of my own it's how much i'm afraid of being penniless. my partner said it all takes timing & i know that for sure which made me realize not to grabbing things excitely without knowing the consequences. although i can wait to get it, where can i get 65,000???
is there anyone there who knows where's a good loan here in the philippines?

you haven't mentioned any existing loans in your post. i forgot the interest rate, but if you have enough contributions, you and your partner could get around 40-45k from the salary loan of sss. for the remaining 20-25K, would any of your family members be willing to loan you this amount? that's what i did when i upgraded my computer a couple of years ago. i asked my sister for a loan (with minimal interest =) and paid her 500 every payday.
i'll probably have the same problem as you have right now when the condo i'm eyeing pre-sells next year.

i don't have any loans, i'm afraid to get one. but i'm now willing to get that house. i checked my sss & i i'm not yet qualified to get one. i don't want to borrow from relatives.. you know it might be a cause of a feud someday. i'm thinking of loans in bank but can't think of where to go to...

you can always start by checking the information available online. banks will give an overview of the loans you can avail. at least you'll get an idea of the rates and requirements without having to go personally to a branch. here are some websites:
www.bpiexpressonline.com
www.bdo.com.ph
www.alliedbank.com.ph
www.metrobank.com.ph
www.psbank.com.ph (subsidiary of metrobank)

A small solution to help you pay the rent would be to join the site in my profile, not the one under my picture, but the one I talk about.
It is possible to earn a lot of money there, and if you both have your own computers, one could join under the other.
This site can help you offset your bills, one member has made over $38,000, and is going to buy himself a house with his earnings.
