why doesn't the recycle guy come EVERY time the garbage guy does?

I bet people would recycle more if the recycle truck came everytime the garbage truck did... The recycle guy comes every other week here, and right now I have 4 days to go and the recycle bin is overflowing, and the garbage can isn't... I bet people start throwing recyclables away when that happens... anyone know why this is? drives me batty

Sadly, I don't have an answer to your question, just a complaint of my own. Lol. Our city doesn't even offer recycling pick up. We have to store it in the house until we find a free second to go all the way across town and dump it. It could be worse. I guess they could like not even offer the bins, forcing us not to recycle at all. :0) Maybe you should call the trash company. Lol. Like it would do any good, but you could always try.

I do feel pretty lucky, as our bin is the same size as our garbage bin, it just has a silver top instead of a blue one... The new garbage company in town is pretty swift
