Can you live in a place that without any shopping mall?

i could care less if there were any shopping malls around me. as long as there's a grocery store, that's all that matters. i have to be able to get food. as for other shopping, i really don't like to shop. you have to fight through crowds of people. you have to walk for long periods of time and by the end of the shopping you are so tired. to me, shopping is no fun at all.

No i cant! I am a shopoholic When i feel down, i need to spend my money 2 exhange the 'temporary' of my hapiness~ When i feel i happy, i need to go shopping to boost up more and more and more and more~! Online shopping will never satisfy the phscycally feling of touching the products!

I do love to shop and could not imagine living somewhere that didn't have a decent shopping district. Where would I go for all my clothing and electronic needs.

I have not been into a mall in years! I guess the Internet is to blame for this although I don't think the Internet is a bad thing. Life has become so much easier now because of the Internet. I certainly do all my shopping online now and I no longer venture into the world of High St shopping. I guess that the mall is good for teenagers though! They tend to use it as a hangout and they also try to catch a fish or two! I can understand your view though that you miss the mall! I guess it's important to have the best of both worlds available. As for me, I will continue to search the world stores online! Andrew

I was born in a big city.I love to live urban area.I love to have fun after my school or work.The shopping mall is one of my favourite place.There is a lot of entertainment inside there.Of course I do like shopping,but I don't really enjoy spending my money to shop!I prefer to have some delicious food...Those big shopping mall always got cinema inside there,that is one of my entertainment too!So I really can't live in a place without any shopping mall! Without those entainment,it's killing me!!!

I can live even without a shopping mall but I prefer to live in a place with a big mall. In a mall you'll find almost everything, the fastfoods, recreation centers, parlors, banks and other offices or stores that could be of service to you. You don't have to go from one place to another' almost all is within the mall...

I wouldn't care if there wasn't a mall nearby. I don't like the malls much, I like small shopping centers better and prefer online when that's possible.

I do live in a place that doesn't have a big shopping mall or a small one or that matter! LOL I live in a very rural area and I have small mini mall with a grocery store that is about 20 miles from me. I go there once a week and get my groceries and then about 65 miles away is the "big mall". I visit it a few times a year. For the most part I shop online but if I feel the need I'll travel to the mall.

Yes I can understand how you feel. I really don't mind if there isn't a mall around me. I can always go somewhere else. But shopping online and shopping at a mall is totally different. I rather shop at a mall, because I can get my merchandise right then and there. I can also get to feel the material of clothing im buying or see first hand if im buying electronics. and you might be able to get a discount in a store if you know how to work a deal. lol. But I Actually like going to the store and seeing the merchandise for myself personally.

I have lived both places, and it's better to live in a place without one, cause then you get to take a whole day off, and spend the whole day and all of your money at once, and it's a lot more gratifying... if you are sad, and live near a mall and can only buy 3 things, cause you do it all the time, you can still leave sad, but if you can make a big event out of it, and come home with 100 things you love you feel so much better.
