First let me say that I am a Giants fan so I am happy they won but the Eagles got hosed on the "Eli beyond the line of scrimmage call".I have seen it countless of times and I Still think he was beyond the line when he threw the ball!I just want to let all the Eagles fans that I know we got away with that one. I feel your pain.

I am not a fan of either team, I don't mind either team just not a fan of either, but I don't think it was a bad call. it was so close to having his foot on the line that I think it was right. The worst part was just like in the bears game when the Eagles tried to hand the ball off to get the first down they needed. Why not roll Mcnabb out and let him make a play, run if he has to? They did it against the Bears and the Giants and blew chances at winning both games.

I am a giants fan, and they did not mess up the call tom coughlin and eli manning both knew the rules and used it to thier benefit .Plus i think the eagles still got alot of calls on there side, with the holding penalty on the punt return.

The forward pass was not the bad call. That was a tough one. Apparently, the rule is that the ENTIRE body must be beyond the line of scrimmage when the ball was released. His back foot had crossed the line yet at what the refs said was the release of the ball. Since the release of the ball is a gray area that was a tought call. The bad call was the non-call on intentional grounding. Eli was apparently AIMING at the ground when he threw that one.

As long as he is out of the pocket, he can ground the ball. I must confess, I don't remember the play so I don't know if he were out of the pocket or not. the forward pass rule is okay , but for the life of me, I saw both feet beyond the line when he finally released the ball.I guess it didn't help that Reid called for those two challenges either.
