why do we say Bless you when we are sneeze??

I think it is because people used to believe that their hearts stopped when they sneezed so people would say God Bless You I guess to make their heart start beating again. That is what I have heard, Not sure if it is true though.

When a child sneezes , It is likely to expand the air path of the child. So the elders bless the child a long life.

k so noonw is giving an exact answer.. i thought everyone knew that anywho.. i didnt hear.. i know, because we studied about the heart and all that and as well the sneezing part lol.. anywho.. somebody said it ,, when u sneeze, that exact second ur heart stops and then beats again, now people say bless u because when ur heart stops.. and then beats again , they r telling u that god blessed u by letting ur heart beat again.. its not a myth , its science!
