Here's one for everyone to chew on for a while.
Is God Perfect? Most Christians would automatically say "yes". Well answer this then, perfection creates perfection. If you have something without flaws then it creates things without flaws. If that is the case then explain the DEVIL? Once he was Gods right hand man before he fell from his side and became, well the DEVIL. If God were perfect then everything he created would be perfect and he would not be capable of creating something that was not perfect? So I say again explain the DEVIL to me????

The Devil? Well, he was created perfect!
But just as all of us, God also created the Devil with the capacity to think for himself. We were ALL created with the ability to choose right from wrong! That's the beauty of all of this. We have no one to blame but ourselves!
If God were in control of choosing for us- then INDEED, He'd be responsible for all of mankind's problems! We could all then, and rightly so, blame God for everything gone wrong.
PLEASE SEE: Ezekiel 28:12-18; for a reference to how perfectly Lucifer was created.

Nice response, but I read Ezeiel 28:12-18 and it said that "and thou hast sinned; and therefore I will cast thee profane out of the Mountain of God: and I will destroy thee,", If this is your example of Lucifer being perfect explain the part of how he is not destroyed as said in the text???

Actually this is God's example of Lucifer being created perfect- NOT MINE!
And the fact that he sinned, is an example of his own free will and personal choice. Just like we have the power of choice ourselves.
I don't see the logic... or the connection between perfection and destruction??? What does one have to do with the other? The question posted in this thread had nothing to do with destruction, but rather with the devil's creation.
But since you asked in regards to his destruction, I then will answer it.
It appears though, that you are attempting to discredit the word of God- or The Bible, by insinuating that Lucifer should have been destroyed at that time, but wasn't! But actually, this reference doesn't say WHEN he'd be destroyed, but rather that he WOULD... as in SOMEDAY!
And THAT DAY will be at the very end of the age at Christ's return, when he will be devoured by fire! PLEASE SEE: Revelation 20:7-10,14-15.

That's a difficult question and we may never know exactly what happened to the Devil and why God would have allowed him to rebel against Him... But the Bible does tell us that Satan was created perfect... but at the same time, I guess he also had free will and He chose to go against God.. I could only speculate but I believe that since God granted Him free will He would not contradict Himself by thwarting that very same free will that He had given to Satan and the rest of the fallen angels..

Who says perfection creates perfection? How do you know that. To know what perfection would do, or what perfection is you would have to be perfect yourself. I'm not, but here's what I think perfection does. I think perfection creates whatever it wants to create. Maybe mistakes are all part of a perfect master plan. Maybe things are perfect. What's perfect? Great body, beautiful face, intelligence. or One arm with a stubby hand, a giant right eye, no legs, and lips the size of a fat girls belly rolls? Who knows? Only perfection knows.

I don't think anyone who isn't God can say what God does. Or what a mistake is. I really don't even know why we would bother trying to figure it out.

So you are saying perfection is a point of view? That is an interesting perception, but an all knowing, all powerful being (GOD)you would think would have more control over what he creates and wouldn't allow one thing to hurt another. And I don't see how mistakes can be a part of a "perfect master plan" last time I checked if a plan goes perfect then there aren't any problems.

So I take it by your response that you say "God" is not perfect? If he where then how would he allow Satan to be involved with Adam and Eve in the first place. Because as we all know Adam and Eve would have been like children. If you don't let you kids have chocolate then when they finally get it and we all know they will. They go crazy over it and you keeping them from it has caused them to want it even more.

sdavis1376, let me tell you this. God is perfect and only God is perfect , the Bible doe not say that he made everything perfect, he made everything to his will, and as of mistakes and God letting the devil hurt us, read the book of Jobe in the Bible and you will see how the devil works, he actually has to ask God for permition before he can even attempt something against the ones who follow christ, if you have decided to loose your self in the world thats you, Judas didnt had to betray God , but he did, it was his choice, God also has that abillity to choose, if he wanted to, he could destroy everything and re-build it, God is perfect and everything that he creates and it all has a purpose, but that doesnt mean that it cant change.
