The Kinks to be the latest band to reform?

according to Uncut's newletter today, the band are writing songs together again and Ray wants them to reunite

Thats great news mate, i am a big Kinks fan , i have a band of my own and we cover so many songs by the kinks , they have the most amazing song, their guitar playing and song writing is just brilliant, Big fan of Waterloo sunset, i think theres no other song like that, true brilliance.

It's kind of half want them to, and half don't for me. I never had the chance to see them (too young) and so would love to as I'm a big fan. However, I don't like that idea of bands going backwards. I guess if it was done in the right way it would be amazing. I'm off to see Ray Davies in December though.
