I'm Sad...

I'm sad today. I woke up thinking about the things that I have no control of. Like waiting for my deployment. Relationships that never worked. Bills that are coming. Do you feel the same sometimes?

Hi sheenarobins,
I think we all face days like that some times, but we have to put things behind us and not to dwell about the past, be positive when you wake up in the morining and work out your budget to pay the bills, never mind about the failed relationship as it was not meant to be and whe4n you do find someone who is, you will know it. Hey, sometimes I do feel the same way as you do. Sadness because of so many obligations and never ending commitments in life. It's ok. That makes life more meaningful and challenging. It makes you grow as a person and make you tough each day. So, it's ok Shennarobins :-)

Very rarely do i feel that way even though things are going quite bad with me presently. I always try to be positive and am optimistic by nature.Yes we sometimes have no control over certain situations but we should not blame ourselves for it.Always remember that every dark cloud has a silver lining and darkness always give way to light.Keep your mind occupied with good, positive thoughts, hum a happy song to yourself, go and see a funny movie or go and have a nice dinner with your best friend and see how your bad mood disappears.Always try to be cheerful and let the sunsine in.All the best, my friend.

I'm glad to know that you have that attitude towards life. I'm trying a new way of living by controlling my thoughts and diverting it into something positive when things are bad. Although, I am successful in doing this, the sad thing is sometimes the bad things get in the way.

some things do go out of control sometimes even though u dont want them too like relationships and work or anything that is going wrong in life u have to do the best u can to fix them

it seems that the only thing i can do right now is wait. and it makes me feel uncomfortable, waiting i mean. I tried brushing it off my mind but it pops up sometimes. with relationship, I'm just disappointed on how things ended up. hey, thanks for the comfort.

Yes, I do! And when that happens, I turn to my Heavenly Father in prayer, knowing that He will listen and give me the support I need. Then, I try to focus on some positive things. I may listen to some upbuilding music, do some exercise, go for a walk, call a friend. Then I tackle the problems, one at the time. What can I do? What can I change? What can I improve? Who might be able to help me?
I also go out and help other people, who have even more problems than me. Before long the sadness evaporates and I'm back to my old self, 1hopefulman!
In this life, the surprise is not when things don't work out but when they do. As a dear departed friend of mine used to say: Blessed are those who don't expect anything as they will not be disappointed.
Someone else encouraged me when they told me that tough times don't last but tough people do. So let's be tough!

Yeah. It happens when we think about things that we cannot control from coming. It makes us feel helpless and, along the way, sad. That's why I avoid thinking about those. Cheer up, my friend.

I have been successful brushing those things that puts me down but today is somehow different. I don't know why. I want to do something to make me cheer me up but I can't find anything. Thank you seishi!
