In these days where many things compete with our understanding of what true love is or even our interpretation of what true love is we can be enamored when such a story line is presented in the big screen and we wish that we are one of the characters.
Watching the movie drives the underlying theme that true love means sacrifice. No matter how hard it may be or even painful, would you agree that love's greatest expression is still sacrifice. This is what's lacking in most relationships that has gone sour or bitter. The fact that we are afraid to go through the extra mile in order to see and experience the greatness of this gift called love we will just be in our seats wishing we would experience even just a small portion of that which was written in the notebook.

The first time I saw this movie I cried in such an unbelievable way. But of course it was really touching at that time in my life. Now when I watch it, I don't really cry but I think that's because I've seen it so many times that I can anticipate what's going to happen. It is truly an amazing movie, though.

Hi there Tim!
It sounds like an interesting book/movie. Too bad I haven't seen it yet but I will look for a copy of it.
True love is unconditional. That's how it is, in my personal opinion.
