When President elect Barack Obama wins the American presidential election, millions of people feel inspired and hopeful about this huge change. Who would ever think that one day a black american will run their country? Historically, racism in America has been a serious issue since the colonial era. The country has been dominated by the ethically diverse whites. They've gone through long time of discrimination and marginalization before formal equality has been legally granted to non-white races. Now, America stands to racial equality between whites and blacks and most importantly to move forward towards stronger and better nation they could be. Another thing about america is, they are not afraid of change. It's as big as Anerica's new generation of hopeful, innovative, and immaginative individuals. And yes, they made it into reality.
Now, the question is - Is America ready for other bigger change in the near future like electing an Americal Woman President? Like racial eqiality, gender equality is highly accepted to American society today. And there's a lot of terrific woman leaders in their country. And I think women can make just as good choice as men. And I think that women can run America, just as easily as a man, but when? Only time can tell.
