Situation Srilanka

I am very keen to know the exact things happening in the SriLanka.. I have read that LTTE are being defeated by SriLnakan's army nowadays..Is that true or the srilanka's media spreading the rumour... Any one the exact detail about war between LTTE and SriLankan army please?
