For Filipinos, Do you think it would decrease the number of smokers?

As we all know, in Philippines, cigarettes are sold cheap, a pack would cost only 13 - 30 pesos which is cheaper if compared to the value of rice per kilo and fish. They can even be bought by stick which is worth 75 centavo - 1.50 centavo whereas in other countries, it is sold by pack. Now, it made me wonder, if the price of cigarettes would go up and if it is not sold per pack, do you think it would lessen the number of smokers here in Philippines?
