Do You Let Valet Attendants Park Your Car?

Sometimes I do, especially when there are no carpark places left. And the thing is, eventhough I do allow them to park, I will not feel safe at all, because in my country, Malaysia, there's plenty of car thefts around. And the worst thing is that if your car is stolen, you will not get any claims for your insurance as well. Because one, think about it, you VOLUNTARILY give your car keys to the person. So no matter what, it's not theft, you gave the key to the person. You allowed the person to take the car from you. If you actually check your car insurance, or if you want to call them and ask, whether if your car was stolen when it was in valet parking, would you be able to get an insurance claim for your car? Also if you have car washes where you give the keys to the people who washes your car, are you able to claim insurance if they steal your car? They would probably answer you no, you will not be eligible to claim theft insurance for your car. I have no car and so i wont ever face that problem.. lol =D However, it's always a danger for those valet attendants to park their guest's cars.. Because some valets may be new, and that they have no real driving experience yet, thus we wont know.. PLus, some cars are much powerful than others, and that the valets dunno really know how to control the cars as well.. Thus, i think it will always be better to park the cars ourselves ^_^ hehe

I do because here in my Country Kuwait we still have a good Governance about this way nobody would make a Carnapping in here so glad about that way too fo r that reason I just trust those valet parking person to do the parking in the Hotel most especially....
