Washing clothes is one of the difficult things to do in the weekend for me. Iam not used to it and so it takes time. Washing machines dont clean the clothes properly and the colour of the dresses becomes faded too. I anyway wash all the clothes once in a week. I like to dress clean. I also iron the dresses once in a week. I almost spend over 20dollars per month on washing. How effectively u all wash clothes here. Share ur thoughts here.

Hi, I use the washing machine once a week, mainly to wash tshirts, jeans, towels and other casual wear. I hand-wash most of my working clothes, especially those that crease easily.
Ironing - a task I detest very much - I try to avoid this as far as possible, so I would buy clothes that do not need much or better still, no ironing!

I have clothes to wash every day. Two grown up sons, my mom's, mine, guests. So I am not able to hand wash. I have to machine wash. it all depends on what soap powder you use. Just soak the really dirty ones.

Hey, xorticanz. I usually do my laundry once a week. Put them in a tiding case and then put them in the washing machine and when the music rings, it's finished, haha. But for those inner clothes, I will wash by myself. Most of clothes don't fade color and it's ok to wash them together for the light colored clothes. Two catagories, light-coloered and black or dark colored. It's simple and fast as I am still single, heehee.

I do not like washing clothes, but do not wash will not do that if i do not wash, then no one will help me wash, so every time i tske a bat immediately wash their clothes clean, maybe this is a good habit.

I usually wash my clothes twice a week, using the washing machine. I'm fine with the washing machine that I'm using. There are only two of us in my household, so twice a week of laundry is fine too. Before getting this washing machine, I used to wash our clothes with hands daily. It's quite tiring. After I bought this washing machine only I found out, washing clothes is so easy.

I do my laundry every saturday, usualy in the morning so I can go out at night. I have a steam press so I don't spend that much time ironing, mostly just my suits for work. Between my sons and i there are probably 4 loads sometimes 5 if I do the sheets. i do it all where I live so I don't spend that much.

my wife is the one who washes our clothes she was it every other day. she uses an appropriate soap for the colored ones so it will not fade easily. she does not hang the colored clothes under the sun too so it will not fade that easy. i do not repeat any clothing so dirty clothes pile up easily and we have a toodler that she frequently change clothes so she washed slothes every other day. she also uses a laundry net for delicate clothes

There are only 3 of us in my home, so i dont have to do it everyday..thankfully because i despise doing laundry. During the summer i can get away with doing laundry one day a week, one load of darks, one of whites, and one of linens. However winter time we wear layers and heavier clothing so i have to do them twice a week, cuz the basket fills up faster..lol. We live in an apartment and have washer and dryer in the laundry room outside my back door, so its like having it in my house..i dont have to go up or down any stairs. its 1.25 to wash and then again to dry, so 7.50 each day i do laundry, comes out to about 60 a month in the cold weather...yuck

Depends on how clean you want to feel. If you want to stink and keep others away from you, then don't wash your clothes. If you want to feel clean and crisp whenever you wear washed clothes, then for goodness' sake, wash them. You may have to plan how you wash your clothes though. There maybe some clothes you cannot wash by hand or in a washing machine. So you have them dry cleaned. But limit them so that you keep that cost low. Decide which clothes are ok to go in a washing machine and then use the washer and dryer. You may want to wash some clothes gently by hand because of their texture. Everything takes time. So, if you want to feel and smell good, get used to it.

i only do it when I run out of clean socks... then if i don't have $ to buy new ones, or if I am running out of jeans or undies too, then I wash them... I hate washing my clothes... I love to have them clean, but hate to be the person to do the laundry
