Retaliatory Negative Ratings (Star Ratings)

It's funny that my star rating has gone from 9 to 7 just after I answered a discussion about religion and proving God exists. Not that it matters much to me, star ratings don't make sense to me really. It's a system that is abused by people on MyLot that get angry with an answer who would prefer to have immediate visual gratification of bringing someone down in a mean spirited way. I find the act deplorable in a moral sense but on a personal level couldn't be bothered to judge a person on their star rating because the system is abused by retaliatory type personalities. If something someone says ticks you off that much, why not say so instead of being so passive aggressive about it? It's still not morally right to retaliate against a personal opinion by hiding it behind a system of star rating and not being man\woman enough to actually step up and say so. To the person who retaliated with that passive aggressive action, be my guest. I don't consider the star rating for people when posting or responding to discussions because of people like you. You take a good thing and make it crappy for the rest of us and negate what the MyLot Team is trying to do here by doing so. Hope you have a nice day!
