Calculus and Graphic Calculator

Can a typical graphic calculator work on trigonometric functions such as sine, cosine, and tangent similarly to a scientific calculator? Will a graphic calculator be a great help for me in learning differential calculus? I am taking that subject this month and I don't want to be a mess with it. Thanks.
