The Philippines consists of thousand plus islands and this is one of the reason why we have so much tourist spots and nice places that you can go to. Like for instance, Boracay - one of the best white sand beaches in the world, Sagada - a place on top of the highest mountains which is close to the clouds and has fresh air that will surely soothes your senses. How about you? If you're from the Philippines or simply a tourist, which specific place do you like to spend your vacation here in our country?

I am going to focus on the tourist spots we have down south particularly in Mindanao.
I have to recommend Lake Sebu of South Cotabato, we were there two weeks ago and I have to say that the place is one quiet place where the food in the resort is cheap and healthy.
In Davao City, do visit the Philippine Eagle Park in Malagos, because it's quite rare seeing the Philippine Eagle. Then go and do Island hopping in Samal Island.

BORACAY!!!! the first time i saw this place, i instantly fell in love with it.. Boracay is a tropical island located in the western visayas region.. there are heaps of hotels scattered all over the place ranging from budget to luxurious type of accommodations.. I am certain that local and foreign tourists will enjoy each day of their stay in this beautiful paradise as boracay has lots of things to offer like pristine white sand beach, water sports, a wide array of bars, restaurants, pubs and discount stores that are open till the wee hours of morning..

The most scenic beaches are from our hometown in Zamboanga (though salty) it feels great to be watchin the waves splash down next to those beaches...
And also the rice terraces(I came along with dad for his agricultural business as a government worker) as we went deeper in the mountains, It was pretty cold and to see the native kids playing as if technology was a stranger and they were willing to accept the fact while not acknowledging it effects...

I'm from Surigao, and I'd like to recommend a visit to our place... You can go island hopping from surigao city and explore the many beaches and other attractions the nearby island have to offer... you can even go to nearby Siargao, renowned for surfing and its challenging breaks... but of course, there's more than that to the island.. there are wonderful beaches, potential dive sites, and spectacular seascapes too...
plus, it's cheap and off the beaten track.. not too crowded and as touristy as say, boracay, but definitely, the natural beauty's there..

I choose Visayas. Especially Cebu because it is the tourism hub of the south. There are lots of beautiful places to go in the Visayas such as beach, tourist spots, historical places and etc. Make Cebu as your starting point and you can easily go anywhere you want like Bohol, Mindanao, Boracay, Palawan, Negros, Siquijor, Leyte and many more beautiful islands. You can easily go island hopping to these places.

I really like the beaches. I think we have some of the best beaches in the world. It's sad that the government isn't taking care of our wonderful beaches. they just let many companies step in and do business at the waterfront which is why the beaches aren't world class. Aside from being beautiful, the beaches in the Philippines lso have some of the friendliest and most charming inhabitants!
