Who was the best player in the Indo-Australian series?

Hi mayank007, It is undoubtedly Gambhir chincles the title! The best player of the indo-australian series. With 3 matches and the highest run scorer of the series, Sachin played all 4 matches yet he didn't match Gambhir's score.

well, first i am very proud that India won it very comfortably. it very hard to pick the best player in the team. apart from rahul dravid every player well in the series. it was more like a best team performance. well, in my view, i would pick ishant in blowing and sachin in batting. even though sachin scored less that gambir and veru, his knock were very valuable considering the movement of the game. when ever india was in trouble he came with a good set of runs.

I think that in the batting field Gambhir was excellent.He was very consistent and was the highest run-scorer even though he did not play 1 match.He scored 436 runs int the series. In the bowling department Ishant Sharma was brilliant with the highest wickets. Australian batsmen fell before him like a house of cards falls. But i wold give the best player award to Dhoni.This is because of his intelligent and cunning captaincy,excellent batting and very good keeping.India won all the Test matches under his captaincy...
