what do you think will happen this season? we ended last season with bette & tina getting back together, shane still a ho, alice and tasha having issues, papi was gone, do you think they'll touch on the prop 8 scandal here in california? what do you want to happen?

I want Bette and Tina to stay together, Tasha to find someone who appreciates her more, and you know, that would be really cool if they did touch on that whole prop 8 scandal.
That pisses me off and then when I think about it, I am also mad at the people campaigning. Because people on the yes side just had so many more volunteers and signs up, etc. The no people never even came to our door to put up a sign. Our family doesn't put signs up for anything, but it would have been nice to see them come up. And the yes people had rallies in the streets in our neighborhood. If the no people had been there, I would have joined them. But I couldn't stand on the other side of the street alone to fight a whole mob of holier than thou style Christians.

Okay, if I actually owned the house and could put up a sign, I would have driven wherever it was to go get one. But I think it is the responsibility of those people campaigning to go to more areas than just the traditionally gay neighborhoods. What good does that do to only campaign in West Hollywood and San Francisco? Let me clarify I am also angry with myself for not volunteering, but I honestly would not have been able to organize a whole group of people to volunteer in this area. People from West Hollywood needed to drive to the suburbs. I of course realize that fundamentalists Christians have tons of funding, but the no campaign was unfortunately not nearly as wide reaching. I think people just figured others would vote no on 8 anyway since that would have been the right thing to do.

i cannot believe you actually said that. it is not up to someone to hand you a sign, if you wanted one, go get one! i made our own, i made some for the neighbor. the yes on 8 people had millions of dollars and handed out a ton of merchandise. it's YOUR responsibility to stand up when you see an injustice. that's why prop 8 passed, because not enough people did anything. everyone else was waiting for someone else to stand up and say something and not enough people did.

omg i'm so excited on their last season! i just hope it's not the last coz i know i will truly miss this series. anyway, i have tried to check out some teasers but i don't know if it's really true... carmen is going back, 2nd child for bette & tina which bette will be carrying, no info about tasha, alice & papi. that's only teasers though.. i'm not really sure how true it is. as much as possible i don't want teasers coz it'll spoil the fun of watching it but still i can't help checking out the internet. lol. but i think i like the teaser which i hope it'll be the same as the season.

its the last season, they said so last year, weird that carmn is coming back, since she's on that show life on nbc, but its not doing too good now. she's supposed to be back for just one episode and not returning to save shane..
