hi keir, your blog is amazing, its good i dont think it requires any changes, i think whoever sees your blog will reply the samething. i mean this is how a personal blog should be. i dont find any fault in your blog. its cool!!!!!!!. i like your blog. i think the reason you think your blog is boring is because you always see it many time daily. IMHO there is nothing wrong with your blog. It is exactly as personal blogs should be. Full of randomness, and personal thoughts. We cannot expect everyone to be intrigued by our own personal thoughts, ideas and lives. Some will find you intresting, many will not. If you try too hard to attract an audience, then the tendency is to stray from being you, and turn more into an entertainer. We'd all love to be famous in the sense that we would have many visitors - especially repeat ones, but there is only so much we can do. Carry on as you have been and stick the link to your blog where ever you can. Eventually the audience will find you. I have my own blogs which do not have many visitors either.
