I cant do them. They have them up here at work and I have not seen anyone that really do them. I have to use a cheat sheet to get it done. Can you do one?

I have never ever figured out how to solve those Rubix Cubes. I guess it's just because I lost patience and never pick one up again... I work with a guy who carries a mini rubix cube around on his keychain and he's pretty good at them.
Off topic***What's the story behind your avatar LightningMan? I kept getting distracted by it. Kinda creepy O.o

I think that they are really impressive.
I have one and even used tile colors so that they wouldn't fade compared to the ones that they came along with when I first bought them.
I helps out when you have nothing to do and your bored. I couldn't solve one before though. I use to take it apart and then reconsctruct them back in order..
I once tried solving it but, I was only able to solve a face and trying out others would ruin the previous face that I have solved. Later on, it came to popularity again and even my friends who skate tried it out. I too got interested again so I bought my own, which was the one I mentioned with the tile add-ons..
I could solve one in less than two minutes, being time conscious rather slowers my pace comapared to just solving it. I do it layer but layer though. Bottom to top.

Well i have tried it and i can just do one side of it. Doing all the sides are next to impossible for me. To be honest, i havn't ever tried doing all the sides at one go. yes, my dad was very good at it. It took him just about 5 mins to solve the rubix cube, all the six sides. he used to tel that it was all about calculation....which i was never good at!!!!

Yep we got 2 of them at home. My kid would try to twist and turn it for almost an hour and can't do it. I tried but as soon as I try working on another side, the first one I fixed was gone. There must be a technique really.

I bought my first Cube way back in 1984. I've never been able to perfectly put them little pests up in their proper places. I believed it will have to take a genius to solve that thing. Then I took an interest in them again a couple of months ago. This time, I have the internet as an ally. They call them algorithms. With these algorithms, I was able to solve the cube for the very first time in my life. But the magic was lost. The algorithms made it look so easy. You just follow it, you're done. That's all. Now all it takes is a moron who can follow simple instructions to solve the cube.
