Just think how lucky you are...

My grandfather who was returning to Jordan after having surgery had his CANE taken away and was told to take off his shoes and socks. He barely could stand on his own and they refused to let anyone help him. Now that is for all people (taking off shoes - well in IL anyways) Before it was a discriminatory act people who SEEMED to be middle eastern. A mexican friend of mine was harassed even though she was born and raised here, why because of these laws. Heck, my friends mom had her bra-searched. It isn't just about people from other countries. It is when you are a born citizen, when in YOUR country you get treated like a criminal that truly sucks. Your fiancee perhaps loves to see this beautiful world as you said, but doesnt mean that he has (or anyone for that matter) to go through a hellish experience just because someone said so. IT PLAIN SUCKS. And you said it sister. F these laws.
