Does anyone else find that myLot.com is slow at times?

Sometimes the pages won't load or they will take forever to load up. Even worse, sometimes the page stops loading when I press the button to add a response and I have to re-type the whole message again. I can honestly say that I am getting pretty annoyed. myLot should at least allow me to use the cut and paste feature so that I don't have to take forever re-typing my responses. aaahhhh!

mylot generates a lot of traffic at all hours of the day.
This glitch happens all too often to various members at many different times here. I have experienced these things as well too often. I feel myLot needs a better server to avoid the slowness etc that occurs all too often. Before you get to the 500 points needed to copy/paste try typing in word etc then copy it to add to the discussion etc in the future. Thats what I did when I first started here. Good luck.

Before you know it you'll be at 500 points and able to copy/paste here.
It does help a lot with long discussions etc.

Thanks for the advice webeishere. I use notepad instead of word to do what you have described. Unfortunately, it's not that much faster than re-typing as I can only cut and paste about a half a sentence at a time and many of my posts are lengthy. I type fast but that trick comes in handy if it is important that I use the exact wording that I originally thought of. Cheers.

it was slow during the beginning of the year.
I had to do alot of retyping like u did to upload my response.
But things are getting better now.
Maybe you should try to check your internet connection

My connection is fine with other sites. Maybe the myLot server is being hit with too much traffic this evening?

It does seem to be a server problem.
When it slows down I usually log off closing my connection then reconnect.
That helps the slowness most times at my end.

Yes, I admit that sometimes it would be a bit slow. But actually it depends on the internet connection too. In my place there is a certain period of time when it is slow and when it is fast.
I always take advantage to use mylot when it is fast. During lunch time and dinner it is usually faster because normally many people will stop and have the meals. Usually it will become very slow around 8 pm to 12 midnight and it will become faster after that.
You will be able to paste when you reach 500 points. But for now you have to put a little more patience. I was like you too, before where I am now. Just take it easy if you can't post a lot in one day, just do one or two. In time you will reach the 500 posts and be able to paste and more rewardingly, to earn. Take care.

Thanks very much for the response ladysurvivor. I am used to using the cut and paste feature on other forums, so not having the use of it here is a little frustrating. I understand why myLot prevents its use until 500 posts though. I don't have internet on cable, so I don't share my connection with others. However, I do incur difficulty with page loading on myLot from time to time while other websites can load fine in alternate web browser pages loading simultaneously. I guess that it's just one of those things.

Not that I am glad that this problem is happening to you too, but I am relieved that I am not the only one and that it's not a problem on my end. It must be even more frustrating for you seeming as though you've been a member on myLot much longer than I have and you have many more posts than I do.

Sometime I also become annoyed , because of my internet connection speed. Which bother me much. Even many time it takes a minute to load a page.But some time it loads so quickly. But better thing is that I had not to re-type yet. That's nice. Re-typing is really an awesome work, and especially I have not have enough patience to do that at all. For earning more you can start an interesting discussion . Mylotting is just a very good fun with earning still. Is not it? I wanna continue , okay.
