It is very weird. I get few invitations from CIAO to take surveys. when i start after few questions the page comes " you do not qualify for this". I am amazed what is really the criteria? why I do not qualify for surveys in all occassions? Are they just cheating and taking answer for few? What bis your observation?

I believe they have criteria before anyone could qualify and they based your qualification from the first few questions they've given. It could be that the survey does not match the place where you are from or any other mismatch. Perhaps there is no cheating involved. It is just a matter of being able to match the qualifications they need before you could join.

I have the same problem with the surveys for Greenfield online. And I do feel a bit cheated because you usually answer a few questions before they tell you that you do not qualify.

Hi,
What you all people telling is absolutely correct. I am also facing the same problem. The survey begins with some general / technical questions and suddenly after 6 to 10 questions a message is displayed stating that you do not qualify for this survey due to specific requirements or something. Almost every time I face this problem. I had completed only 2 or 3 surveys till date. All of us had updated all the pages in profiles link. So they should go through our profile and if really found eligible we should be asked to participate in the surveys. Otherwise there is no use in everytime spending 10 to 20 minutes without any use.

that is normal,
it happens with every survey site,
the people paying for the surveys are looking for a certain type of customer,
they will ask you what is called qualifying questions and the minute your answer is not what they are looking for they don't go any further,
for example you might be 26 and they want people 30 and over, so you wouldn't qualify
or you might live in india and they only want people living in the united states etc,

I have never seen surveys on CIAO before. I have not done anything with them yet though. I tried to look at how to do reviews and that was about it.

I know what you are talking about I have 2 surveys that once I answer a page or 2 of questions then I don't qualify for the survey. But those are always money paying surveys. The regular ones I always qualify for. I actually believe that they get the answers they want in the pages that you have to fill out and then they don't need you to go on with the survey. And I have emailed them and told them so. in way over a year I have not qualified for one survey that pays money. So I stopped taking the ones they send.
One that I have always done is MYSURVEY.COM, you answer questions for points then cash the points in for cash or let them add up to cash out for prizes. I have cashed out many times on there. They always sent the money with in about a week. Now all of a sudden they can't send it for at least 6 weeks or more. I have been waiting on a payout since first of October. That is stupid to hold up the payout for such a long time. When I cashed out this last time I needed the money or would not of cashed out, well it hasn't come yet, so once I get a few more points to make a 1000, I will cash out and not go back. It seems to be getting that way with most they want your opinion but don't like to pay now.

I did not even know that CIAO did surveys. I will have to go look it up to see what it is all about. I have run in to this problem with other places though so I do know what you are talking about. I hate it when I have invested a good amount of time and then I am suddenly not qualified.

For me there is no such problem and i am getting an average of one survey per week.I think it is the problem with your profile which is not matching to their requirement.

I often get the same answer when I try taking a CIAO survey and I have started to lose my patience with the site. I have taken a few surveys, and I have made a bit of money, but I feel like I am wasting my time, because 9 out of 10 times I am not qualified for the survey. I don't think they are cheating, but it seems as if they just send out the same invitations to everyone incl people who don't belong to the target group for that particular survey.
