Many times in my life people have gotten the wrong idea about me in fact there are often very surprised when they find out I'm not like they thought because one of the biggest misconception about me is I'm a stuck up but I'm soooo not like that at all, and people usually realize I'm not like that after the first 30 seconds of meeting me, and they say WOW! your nothing like I thought, I dont know why people think that a person is stuck just because they show confidence. oh well its your turn whats the biggest misconception about you?

I think one of the bigges misconceptions about me is that I'm quiet.
Granted, I used to be a very quiet kid, but I've clearly come out of my shell.
I speak my mind, very vocally, lol.
You can't shut me up half the time.
But I think some people still judge others by "the cover" and try to categorize and generalize people, without getting to know them. I try and not do that...most of the time.

Hi ya apples99
I don't know I think because I dress very casually, jeans and hoodies mostly and I have my nose pierced I think people assume that I am rough and common until I open my mouth and they see I am well spoken and with more than an ounce of intelligence too!

Hey there humbug25. interesting self description, well back to the topic yea most people assume I'm a snob and that I'm not that intelligent because I look so different then most people, but once I start talking to that person there like wow I your so much different then I thought, and I usually dont know what to say after that because in a way its like a slight insult but I just let it slide by, because I guess they didnt know me so they couldn't help it, but some people are way to judgemental of others. thanks for contributing.

Well, people have always been known to label other people just from what they see or hear about a person, and of course it happens to me. Both in high school and in school i was considered some kind of nerd by a few people in my class because i didn't do all the crazy things they did, because that probably in their eyes meant that i only stay at home and learn. I also was good at staying quiet in the class times as i knew that if i am quiet and don't upset the teachers i may have certain advantages like higher grades and better opinions even if i don't learn more than others. I did my share of things, having fun and stuff, but not with my class mates - i had other friends with which i preferred to spend my time with.
I also have been taken as a fool in numerous occasions even if i am not, as people tried to cheat me with different things but realized they can't after a little while of time trying to do so with me. I also have an excellent of sending beggars away - i really get annoyed by people who are asking me money even if they may have an income, or they appear to be able to work, and i am an UNEMPLOYED student with 0 income.

The biggest misconception about me was that people thought I was a snob, which is really funny. I didn't like people who are snobs so why should I be one? I really find it a no-no. When I get along with those people after a few hours, they told me that I was a cheerful person after all. They thought they will never get along with me because they thought that I choose only a few people to be my friends. Well, they were wrong. I may look snobbish but I am definitely one friendly person whom you will get along with easily.
