why software programmer earn more salary then normal job workers?

why do sofware programmer earn more money then normal job workers? who also qulify much studies and have more exprences. how do the computer company pay that much highter salary payment?

software programmers are paid more because they work in companies which have clients from the US. most of the work is outsourced by US to indian companies as they dont have to pay much for the work done by indian companies.
i work for an indian company as a developer and i dont get paid as high as my friend in other companies since my company work on internal projects only , whereas my friends work for companies which work on projects outsourced by US companies.
