We all know that life is very hard now and we must find a way to get out of this problem.Although I love the job I am doing now, I will still go for a job that will pay higher. It is not just because of money only but for my own self and professional growth also. In addition to that, it will give me also an opportunity to help my family and take care more of their needs.

It is not just the salary that I look for in a job. I also have to check the people around me and the environment. If those do not match my demands then I'd rather stay in my present job where I feel very comfortable with the good people around me and good Boss as well and good working condition. Like for example if another good paying job comes my way but the people I'd be working with are arrogant and proud and cared not for newbie like me then what kind of life I'd be having in that office each day. I'd be suffering just for higher salary? No way!

I will try to consider opting the new job even though I don't love the job. But at the same time I would not go to the new job that easily. I have to compare and see whether the increase in salary is worth my sacrifice or it will just make my life miserable. I will look if the salary is too much higher than my old job, I will think about it. If it is just 100 or 200 more than my current job's salary, I wouldn't change so easily because I believe the economic crisis will end finally. This is only a temporary situation and I have to be patient while it is happening.

I know it's really hard to choose between salary and satisfaction. And it really depends on the people. Some people prefer to be "professionals" and not let any emotional feelings involved, but some need more comfortable surroundings. For me, I prefer the one which is more comfortable. I worked in an office and I got more money than I do now (twice my earnings now), but I'm not comfortable with my working partners and I can't stand the discrimination came from my boss (religion-wise). I worked there for more than 2 years, but then I quit and prefer to work at home in the same line of work (but different boss). I made the decision because I still can meet my needs with my current earnings and am not burdened with all the stress I had. But I'm single, only have to fulfill my needs and my mother's. I might not make this decision if I have kids or more things to take care off. So, the decision is fully yours. You can calculate your salary as oppose to your needs (although we're often mistaken between needs and desire ^^).
