Is The Internet Addictive?

Good day mylottians, i found out of late that i couldn't do with-out the internet.. no hobby seemed to replace the pleasure i derive from surfing the net. The internet provides me with basically all i need and also i like playing chess therefore Yahoo chess has been a substitute for playing a real life one which is more challenging since you can play with different nationalities.. Theres nothing like the internet friends.. i would like to know how you feel also about this.
