Well, in this making-money-is-a-hard-thing-to-do era, we do sometimes have to choose our profession wisely and critically. You have to think long and hard in making decisions regarding your future occupation, because primarily, education will be your stepping stone to a bright and secure future. And since the late 1990's, we all felt the BOOM of the nursing profession especially in countries like UK and USA. And since most nurses are underpaid here in the Philippines, many of them, opted to go for the greener pasteur on the other side of the fence. Having said that, it is nowadays, very common for us to see students walking around in their nursing uniforms, hoping that they will soon earn a living as a nurse. But in the recent influx of economic instability being felt all around the world, and visa retrogression still on-going, it makes me wonder, what is in store for these youngsters? The question of a lifetime (for future nurses and nurses still here in the Philippines).. To be or not to be a NURSE?
