i enjoy my granddaughter more.
my own kids i wanted them to be perfect ( don't say anything ), but with my girly-girl i don't care if she's not perfect.
i think she is funny, sweet, hearty, etc.
i don't have to be the parent with her and we can have loads of fun.
plus.....if she becomes the child from h*ll, i can send her home!

yes, I guess you are correct, we are some older and can take time with the grand kids as we all had to work too long hours, etc when our own kids were growing up. If we have retired or close to retirement, we can go to parks, play with the grand children, and like you said send them home.
