I'm not quite sure if this is true. Maybe there are experts in this interest group who can elaborate more. People have told me that nutrition-wise, one banana equals to three oranges, and one orange equals to three apples. To summarize, that statement is indicating that bananas have better nutritional content than oranges, followed by apples. Is this true? Please elaborate on this. I'd like to know your comment.

I know there is a saying: Banana is the apple for the poors. As far as I know, there are many kinds of nutrition in bananas, including Vitamin C, Vitamin B, Vitamin A and others. But as we know, apple is also excellent in this aspect. However, banana is more cheaper than apple in most countries.
So, I guess there is no need to make clear borderline between these three friuts, they are all health, and maybe is complementary to each other. Lol...
I often eat one apple a day, or one banana, that's better, I guess.

Hmmm, interesting. I don't really know which of the three are more important, but I remember reading that apples are considered to be a super-food. Maybe that's why there's a saying that "an apple a day keeps the doctor away"!
I often eat a banana in my cereal in the morning and an apple for a snack in the afternoon. My sons usually have an orange or 2 for an evening snack and I'll grab a slice or two for myself. We haven't been sick yet this fall (well other than the sniffles and sneezes...but not nearly as bad as everyone else around us) I don't know which fruit is helping us...maybe all 3!

I'm not sure either but I bet they are referring to the potassium content. Bananas are very rich on potassium so I'm thinkking that is probably the reason. I love them all so I get my content of whatever they are talking about! LOL
