I just started a diet and want to know if anyone has some tips. I am eating mostly south beach style, with a little rye bread added in. I am also taking a carb blocker just to see what it does (its just kidney bean extract so nothing bad there).

I have been dieting on and off. Now I am getting fat again, just after I started losing weight last week because I was fasting for the whole week. Lol...
However I have a few tips to share with you when you are dieting. First, in order to lose weight the easy way, drink more water than you usually drink in a day. This means if you usually take 5 glasses of water per day, now you must drink 8 glasses or more.
I know the standard amount is 8 glasses per day, but I believe not everybody is doing this in her or daily life. It is somehow difficult to maintain a strict 8 glasses of water every day. We are too busy most of the time.
I have experienced myself, whenever I drink a lot of plain water, I will urinate frequently. When we urinate, we are actually disposing off body fat and sugar from our body. Without our realization, we are actually reducing our weight effortlessly. We don't have to exercise too much, just simple ones may do.
Another tip is not to eat food with carbohydrates too much at a time. When eating, I take a scoop of white rice, a spoonful of vegetables, a small piece of meat, fish or chicen, and I drink a lot of water. Then after the meal I eat a piece of fruit. This is the most natural diet and is safe.

Good luck!, I recently started a diet too and what i have been doing is counting my calorie intake. I have added 1 fresh fruit a day, and switched from regular sugar to diet sugar. I know doesnt sound like fun! but its not going too bad and i am not going to sleep hungry. I also have added an exercise routine 1 hour a day. Since I cant afford a gym I have been doing it watching exercise t.v. its really good! you should try it.
